Functional cookies, security cookies and how future consent choices will be handled.
Which cookies do we use?
HostingGY uses cookies and similar techniques that are needed for the website, customer area, security and payments to work properly.
- Functional cookies for basic operation and language choice
- Session and login cookies for the customer area
- Cloudflare cookies for security, performance and bot protection
- Stripe or checkout cookies when a payment is started
- Blesta cookies for login, session and the client area
- Openprovider-related processing when domain registration is performed
Analytics and marketing
At the moment, no tracking or marketing cookies are added to the Astro website.
If HostingGY later adds analytics, remarketing or advertising cookies, this must be reviewed again and consent may be required.
When is a cookie banner needed?
Strictly necessary cookies normally do not require prior consent.
A cookie banner is needed when non-essential cookies are used, such as analytics, tracking, profiling or marketing cookies.
Minimal banner text for later
Suggestion: “We use necessary cookies for operation and security. We only use optional analytics or marketing cookies after consent.”
This minimal banner is only needed when HostingGY adds optional cookies. As long as only necessary cookies are used, a clear cookie policy is enough.
Managing cookies
Visitors can delete or block cookies through browser settings. Some features, such as login or payment, may then work less smoothly.
