Contract party

Service

HostingGY provides website-as-a-service with a 3-day free trial. During the trial, customers can test HostingGY and build or explore a WordPress website on a temporary HostingGY URL. Domain registration and custom domain activation are available only after upgrading to a paid account.

Price, payment and cancellation

• The current monthly amount and selected currency are shown before ordering and recorded in the order confirmation.
• Payment is monthly in advance through Stripe.
• The invoice is created 7 days before renewal.
• Cancellation is possible at any time.
• The service remains active until the end of the paid period.
• There are no automatic pro-rata refunds.

Non-payment, suspension and termination

If payment fails or remains unpaid, HostingGY may temporarily suspend the service. The service may be suspended 3 days after the due date. If payment remains unpaid, HostingGY may terminate and delete the service 30 days after suspension.

Domains and temporary URL

Domain registration runs through Openprovider. Free domains are available on .be, .com, .co.uk, .de, .es, .eu, .nl and .org. Availability may change and domains are subject to the rules of the registry and registrar.

The customer is responsible for correct domain details and for having the right to use a domain they connect to the service.

The temporary HostingGY URL lets customers start without owning or choosing a domain first. Domain registration, selected free domain extensions and connecting a customer-owned domain are paid-account features and are performed best effort after upgrade.

Customer content and prohibited use

• The customer is responsible for all content on the website.
• Spam, phishing, malware and illegal content are prohibited.
• Infringing content and system abuse are prohibited.
• Overload, scanning or attempts to bypass security are prohibited.
• HostingGY may suspend in case of abuse to protect systems, customers and third parties.

WordPress and Bricks

HostingGY provides a clean, standard WordPress installation and does not apply artificial restrictions to plugins, themes or custom code.

Customers are responsible for the plugins, themes, code and content they install or upload.

HostingGY may restrict, suspend or remove software, content or activity that negatively impacts server performance, creates security risks, is used for spam, malware, phishing or other abuse, violates laws or third-party rights, or harms the stability or security of the platform or other users.

Bricks Builder is provided as part of the HostingGY service under the HostingGY license. This usage right only applies while the website is hosted with HostingGY. If the customer moves the website outside HostingGY, the customer must obtain their own valid Bricks Builder license to continue using the builder.

Support, uptime and backups

HostingGY provides support through [email protected] and usually responds within 1 business day. HostingGY works best effort on high availability, but does not provide a hard SLA unless agreed in writing.

Backups are made daily and kept for 7 days. Restore is best effort on request. Restore is free after a platform fault; customer-caused restore work may involve support costs.

Liability

Liability is limited to the extent allowed by law. This clause must be aligned with the target audience and applicable law.
